Dr. Ezam Mat Ali
Founder and CEO
The MedPlanner One solution is the brainchild of Dr. Ezam Mat Ali MD, who trained and worked as a specialist paediatrician in the UK. After obtaining a UK Master’s degree in Technology in Clinical Practice, he established Hailadoc Ltd in London in 2014. This was followed by setting up MedPlanner Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur 2017. Both companies offer secure clinical communications apps that seek to mitigate poor communication amongst healthcare professionals. In the field of medical practice, Dr. Ezam’s research has produced a number of research papers. Today, with his professional knowledge and deep understanding of digital technology, Dr. Ezam leads the design of the MedPlanner’s solutions.

Saifol Bahri Shamlan
Saifol Shamlan graduated in the US with a degree in computer science and business management. He has had a diverse career that began with software engineering in Boston and continued with technical work in Esso Malaysia and Standard Chartered Bank Asia-Pacific. In the Software-as-a-service field, he became a CEO to turn around the Dagang Net group of companies. This was followed by the Director of Technology Strategy for the UEM Group, and transitioned into government agencies, as the VP of Industry Development in MDEC, Deputy CEO of SME Corp and Head of Investor Management in ECERDC. With his wide range of experience from leadership roles in technology, online business, management, finance, human resources and corporate strategy, Saifol is the partner and co-founder responsible for finance and operations in MedPlanner Sdn Bhd.

Lilyana Abdul Latiff
Lilyana Abdul Latiff is a “CTO-For-Hire”. She helps young businesses create products on solid architecture, scalable, and yet working within the constraints and limited resources of startups. Lilyana is a spirited entrepreneur having founded several companies in her 20 years of doing business. Her career has taken her through diverse industries such as education, consulting, product development, social media and now, healthcare. Still very much hands-on with technology, she has consistently infused communications and technologies in all her ventures, setting her companies slightly apart from other industry players. In MedPlanner, her role as a co-founder and head of technology will help ensure the platform’s advancement, efficiency and profitability.

Hemy Sorfina Halim
Hemy Sorfina Halim is an entrepreneurial & commercially astute Key Account professional with more than 10 years of experience leading sales and channel management, spearheading business development initiatives and channeling value creation. She has delivered high-growth revenue in the government and
private sectors, across the ICT, telecommunications, healthcare and biotech
industries. With her past successes, specifically in healthcare and biotech businesses like DoctorOnCall, Sorfina Hal and DNA Biosciences, Hemy brings with her the experience, industry knowledge and the network of who’s who in healthcare, both in the government and the private sector.
