2. How We Use AI: HEMI

Health Medical Intelligence (HEMI), is designed to support healthcare professionals by improving workflow efficiency and enhancing access to relevant clinical information. HEMI does not replace clinical judgment but serves as a tool to assist qualified providers in delivering timely and informed care.
HEMI uses natural language processing and machine learning to interpret clinical data, generate draft documentation and organize information for provider review. HEMI may process patient-provided input to suggest possible care pathways and management. These outputs are always subject to human validation and do not function as standalone clinical decisions.
All AI-generated content is clearly labeled and intended for use within professional healthcare settings. The use of HEMI is optional, transparent, and governed by internal protocols to ensure accuracy, privacy, and clinician oversight. At all times, licensed medical practitioners retain full responsibility for decisions made in patient care.

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements, AI capabilities, or clinical practices. We will notify users of significant revisions. Continued use of MedPlanner services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
